Currently, much attention is paid to the cardiotoxicity of antitumor drugs in polychemotherapy (PCT). Modern methods of treating cancer patients are associated with effective combinations of chemotherapy drugs and radiation therapy, which increases the life expectancy of patients, but at the same time increases the risk of developing various complications. Chemotherapy is one of the most reliable and proven methods of treating malignant tumors and blood diseases, but at the same time, it often causes adverse reactions of chemotherapy drugs and, in particular, cardiotoxicity. Most often, cardiovascular complications are associated with the administration of anthracyclines and related drugs (doxorubicin, daunorubicin, epirubicin, idarubicin, mitoxantrone), which are usually used in treatment regimens due to their wide spectrum of action and high effectiveness. The risk of developing cardiotoxicity and the progression of existing cardiovascular diseases increases.

Keywords:cardiotoxicity, anthracycline antibiotics, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, chemotherapy, doxorubicin, sodium uretic peptide, cardiomyopathy.
