In the conditions of the Kursk region in the zone of activity of industrial enterprises, the content of TM in the soil and medicinal plants was studied. It is established that the soils of all the studied territories belong to the category of high level of pollution. The priority pollutants are Pb, Zn, Cd, Cr, Ni, and Cu. Depending on the level of soil contamination and the specific characteristics of plants, the share of trace elements in their total content in plants changed. The greatest dependence between the content of HM in the soil and plants is observed in the least polluted area adjacent to the Nuclear power plant.
