The coronavirus disease COVID-19 is a highly contagious infection currently widespread in the world, the etiological factor of which is the SARS-CoV-2 virus. According to some already available data, SARS-CoV-2 is actively involved in the development of endothelial dysfunction. Given the nature of the pathogenesis of endothelial dysfunction in COVID-19, pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) may become one of the most anticipated complications. There is already a description of a number of clinical cases of PAH development after suffering a severe form of COVID-19 associated pneumonia. We are considering a clinical case of COVID-19 pneumonia in a patient who already has PAH.
