The questions of the application of theoretical and probabilistic methods and models in the system of information and analytical training of specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia are considered. Computer templates have been developed that allow modeling various situational decision-making tasks based on the Bernoulli scheme. The applied aspects of the approximation of a binomial distribution by a normal one are investigated.
