Schonlein-Genoch disease in the practice of a surgeon

Currently, Schonlein-Genoch disease is one of the most common hemorrhagic diseases, characterized by the presence of hemorrhagic rash, abdominal and joint pain, hematuria and kidney failure. The leading factor in the development of the disease is the deposition of polymer immune complexes IgA 1 with subsequent activation of the compliment system and hemostasis. The clinical picture of Schonlein-Genoch disease is diverse and depends on the form of the disease. That is why it is necessary to navigate the symptoms and to suspect and recognize this pathology in time. Knowledge of the clinical picture of the disease is important for surgeons. Patients with Schonlein-Genoch disease can go to the clinic with arthralgias, or to the hospital on duty. Patients are usually admitted to the hospital with signs of gastrointestinal bleeding with a characteristic erosive-hemorrhagic lesion of the mucous membrane.
