One of the factors having a negative impact on the health and reproductive function of women is the artificial termination of pregnancy, which subsequently leads to ectopic pregnancy. In this regard, the problem of abortion prevention is in the focus of attention of obstetricians and gynecologists, demographers, health care organizers and other specialists. Scientific research is being actively conducted to develop methods for the prevention of abortions, unplanned pregnancy in order to reduce the frequency of complications, such as ectopic pregnancy. In this regard, an important issue is the study of the motives of abortions in the contingent of women of late reproductive age.
