A wide range of rotating NiTi instruments in the dental market, where manufacturers provide only an exemplary resource of mechanical tools, conditionally dividing them into reusable and disposable, thus does not give recommendations on the service life and clinical recommendations depending on the complexity of the root canal system. The article discusses the results of studies of cyclic fatigue fatigue of NiTi instruments, as well as describes the mechanisms of fracture of these endodontic instruments.
