The purpose of this work is to summarize information (both author's and literary) about the white-tailed eagle in the Altai Territory and the Altai Republic. In the Altai Territory, the white-tailed eagle is a rare species, but relatively prosperous, distributed in the ribbon and Ob forests, in the floodplains of the Ob and Charysh, as well as in the Kulunda lowland; the approximate number is 124-137 breeding pairs. In the Republic of Altai, most of the sightings of white-tailed eagles are nomadic individuals, the only nesting place is the Dzhulukul depression (Bokse tract).
