This paper attempts to evaluate and compare the performance of traditional and cloud databases. The size of databases has increased exponentially in recent years, and the same growth is expected in the future. The cost of data storage has declined rapidly, and this has been followed by a rapid increase in storage capacity. The recent emergence of cloud databases has brought about many changes. Database performance plays an important role in computing.
