Inflammotory chronic mechanisms of periodontal tissue

Any chronic disease is known to be the final stage of a long pathophysiological process in the body induced by the influence of adverse factors that have a direct or indirect impact on the development of the disease. The paper presents a review of the data from Russian and foreign issues on the main etiological factors of periodontal diseases, as well as pathophysiological mechanisms of their development from the point of view of modern dentistry.
