In modern conditions, information is the basic basis in the process of activity of both an individual and society as a whole. Along with the development of science, there is an inevitable complication of the information model of the world. The quality of life of mankind directly depends on the degree of understanding of the flow of information processes. This article is devoted to the study of the features of ensuring the protection of information in the process of automation of modern medical institutions. The article analyzes the features of automating the activities of modern medical institutions, the features of ensuring the protection of information in the process of automation, and explores typical information resources that participate in the information exchange of medical institutions.
