The modern development of orthodontic technology has made it possible to limit the indications for the removal of individual teeth. As a rule, the absolute indications for tooth extraction in patients with anomalies and deformities are supercomplete teeth of abnormal shape, making it difficult for complete teeth to erupt or breaking the shape of dental arches. They offer to remove teeth with relative and absolute macrodontia However, to date, indications for the removal of individual teeth in macrodontism have not been determined, depending on the severity of the discrepancy between the size of the teeth and the parameters of the dental arches.
