The issues of the incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus (HDM), as well as subsequent perinatal and maternal complications, dictating the need to search for new early diagnostic criteria for the disease in order to determine the role of receptors for the end products of glycation in the development of gestational diabetes mellitus in women with moderate alimentary obesity are considered. A total of 214 pregnant women were examined in accordance with the current orders and recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. SRAGE was determined by a quantitative enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (automatic immunoanalyzer ChemWell® FUSION, USA). For the analysis, we used the Human RAGE Quantikine ELISA Kit (R&D Systems, USA). It was found that the average sRAGE content in women with GDM is statistically significantly higher than in patients without GDM.

Keywords:gestational diabetes mellitus, insulin resistance, receptors of glycation end products.
