Application of laser automated measuring systems for the control of geometric parameters of space technology products

Laser automated measuring systems are widely used for the aerospace product geometric parameter control. This paper considers the use of the MV 224 laser scanner and the API Radian R-20 laser tracker to control the geometric parameters of aerospace construction elements at different production stages. The use of these measuring instruments allows to automate measurements with ensuring the measurement accuracy at the level of 0.1 mm and to assess compliance with the established requirements when the product's CAD model is used as a standard reference.
