Some problems of modeling the demagnetization processes of ships and submarines

The relevance of the problems of demagnetization of submarines and surface ships, persisting for eighty-five years to the present, is shown. The parameters determining ship magnetization, ship models used for prediction calculations and changes in this area occurring with the development of computer technology and modern software are reviewed.
