Modern approaches to the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension on the clinical example of a patient with idiopatic PAH

the views on the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension have recently undergone an evolution from monotherapy to risk-oriented combination therapy. The goal of the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension is to achieve the status of belonging to a low risk group. Accordingly, if such a goal is not achieved, optimization and escalation of therapy is performed up to a combined triple therapy with the inclusion of drugs from all known groups of LAG-specific drugs. The article provides a clinical example of a patient with idiopathic pulmonary hypertension, which traces the entire path of therapy from symptomatic to modern PAH-specific therapy.
