The role of vitamin D in the treatment of genital endometriosis in women with infertility

It is now known that vitamin D deficiency is associated with reduced fertility. The aim of this study was to assess the degree of effect of vitamin D supplementation on reproductive function in women with endometriosis. It has been shown that the optimal tactic for managing women with endometriosis and infertility is complex treatment, including laparoscopic surgery against the background of correction of vitamin D deficiency followed by hormone therapy with dienogest for 3-6 months. This approach allows you to increase the likelihood of conception and successful pregnancy.
