Use of antihypoxants in complex treatment of acute jaw osteomyelitis

The problem of increasing the effectiveness of treatment of patients with acute odontogenic inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region is currently one of the most urgent in dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. The success of treatment of patients with acute odontogenic osteomyelitis of the jaws depends on early diagnosis, an objective assessment of the severity of the patient's condition. This contingent of patients requires active, sometimes expensive treatment in a specialized hospital. The purpose of the study: to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of Acizol in the complex therapy of acute odontogenic osteomyelitis of the jaw. Treatment in the control group lasted 9-11 days. The study confirmed the positive therapeutic effect of the antihypoxic drug Acizol, which showed an increase in the effectiveness of treatment and a reduction in the duration of hospitalization in patients with acute odontogenic osteomyelitis of the jaw.
