To the question of the expediency of using QFD technology in the design and manufacture of products

This article reveals the attributes of competition and factors that ensure the competitive superiority of rival companies in the competition, as well as key areas in the production of competitive products by enterprises. As an effective method for the development of innovative products, the QFD technology (the method of structuring or deploying quality function) is proposed, which is currently little used by Russian companies, but widely used in the West and Japan, based primarily on taking into account consumer requirements. The importance and necessity of using this technology by Russian enterprises in the face of increased competition is substantiated.
