The number of patients who need surgical treatment of obesity is increasing every year. According to the World Health Organization, more than 1.9 billion adults are overweight, while 35% of them are obese. Obese patients also have an increased risk of malignant oncological diseases. In this regard, an active search is underway in all developed countries of the world for new highly effective ways to treat obesity, one of them is a surgical method.
