The role of the user interface hardware and software complex patrol car

The article is devoted to the issues of assessing the ergonomics of the user interface of the software and hardware complex of a patrol car. The relevance of this article is due to the fact that the use of HUD displays in emergency vehicles due to the method of data output affects the behavior of drivers, thereby contributing to reducing the risk of accidents. This aspect leads to the need to study the user interface of the projection display application. The article describes an ergonomic analysis of the interface of the software and hardware complex of a patrol car based on a human-oriented approach. It is based on the analysis of existing regulatory documentation, which allows to identify the main consumer requirements for software products, and the approaches of researchers, which make it possible to determine methods for assessing the quality of software products from the point of view of consumers. The author identifies, based on the above data, the criteria for interaction between the user and the software and hardware complex of the patrol car, which allows us to form a combined approach for analyzing and evaluating the software and hardware complex of the patrol car, which includes three stages of evaluating the interface at both qualitative and quantitative levels. The application of this system approach makes it possible to optimize the ergonomics of the user interface and increase the efficiency of the entire software and hardware complex of the patrol car.
