Ahmedova Aynur Barat  (Assistant of the Department of Biology Teaching Methods, Sumgayit State University, Republic of Azerbaijan, Sumgait )

Recently, due to the imbalance and deterioration of the ecological situation, the processes of degradation of the soil and vegetation cover of the biocenosis are intensifying. From this point of view, in order to protect the environment, it is of great importance to study the cultural dendroflora of the regions, including the northeastern part of the Greater Caucasus, to conduct monitoring and scientific research. As a result of the research, it was found that 115 species of trees and shrubs are distributed in the northeastern part of the Greater Caucasus under ex-situ conditions and they are grouped into 78 genera, 41 families and 27 orders.
