In the presented work, medicinal plants included in the flora of Azerbaijan were studied in terms of the species composition of mycobiota and the activity of hydrolytic enzymes and the phytotoxicity of some fungi found on these plants. It has been established that the studied plants are the habitat of fungi, among which there are those capable of synthesizing hydrolytic enzymes balanced in activity, degrading host cell walls. It has been shown that the level of activity of proteolytic enzymes can be used as a factor limiting the process of pathogenesis in phytopathogenic fungi, which, for pathogens of secondary mycoses, on the contrary, as a factor contributing to opportunistic actions.
