Community-acquired pneumonia of viral etiology are dangerous diseases, they account for about 5-15% of all cases of community-acquired pneumonia. Attention to viral pneumonia has increased due to the current situation in the world associated with a new coronavirus infection, the danger of which is that it causes a number of serious complications. This article analyzes 2811 emergency medical calls (SMP) to patients with symptoms of viral pneumonia associated with a new coronavirus infection in the city of Tambov. SMP call cards were grouped according to the following criteria: age, gender, degree of lung damage by CT, oxygenation indicators, established diagnosis of viral pneumonia, hospitalization of patients in the Tambov Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital.
