Complications of multiple pregnancies are accompanied by life-threatening complications. Aim of the study is to analyze the causes of the increase in specific complications of multiple pregnancies and the ways of prevention and treatment of life-threatening complications. Complications in multiple pregnancies make up a significant part of all obstetric pathology. In recent years, there has been a steady trend towards their growth. In this article, based on the literature data, an analysis of the causes of the increase in specific complications of multiple pregnancies, their structural changes, and ways of prevention and treatment is carried out.
