The article carried out an epidemiological dental examination of the adult population in three climatic and geographical zones of the Republic of Dagestan: plain, foothill and mountainous. The prevalence of dental plaque was studied depending on the hydrogeochemical parameters of drinking water: water pH, hardness, fluoride concentration, and the general level of its mineralization.
