The biological role of zinc has a dual character: on the one hand, life of the body is impossible without zinc, on the other hand, zinc has a certain toxicity, being a carcinogen. The purpose of the research is to give an ecological assessment of the effect of zinc microfertilizers on the yield and quality of winter wheat grain. Studies have established that the use of zinc fertilizers for foliar feeding of winter wheat provided an increase in yield by 12.5 c/ha or 18.2%, while exceeding the maximum permissible concentrations of zinc in winter wheat grain was not revealed.
