Identification of the phenetics and viability of Pinus sylvestris in forest communities depending on the distance to a large industrial facility made it possible to prove that, as a massive and very sensitive test object, is very advisable to use in a biological monitoring system in the area of man-made objects. It has been established that with distance from the object, viability (the total number of germinated pollen grains) and the number of normally germinated pollen grains with one unbranched tube increase. The number of sprouted pollen grains with various development anomalies decreases. It can be considered that anthropogenic and technogenic factors have an important impact on the state of the male generative sphere of the model object in the study area. The pollen of the Pinus sylvestris is able to respond to an increase in the intensity of the impact of stressful anthropogenic and technogenic factors by reducing viability and increasing the yield of anomalies in the development of pollen grains. The results obtained indicate the relative stability of male pine reproduction in the area of the object in 2018-2020.
