Most prescriptions of braces are the standard for orthodontists. The braces are designed with the value of mesial-distal angulation and vestibular-lingual incline (torc). However, the prescriptions of braces are so different that such terms as braces with a "high", "low" and "standard" torc have appeared in the everyday life of orthodontists and manufacturers. The recommendations of specialists on the use of certain prescriptions are given and the effectiveness of treatment is shown.
