The dental health of the children's population depends primarily on the prevention of dental diseases. In this article, we focus on the main tasks of prevention, which are: informing the population about the nature of dental diseases, teaching oral hygiene, motivation to foster healthy habits in the family, as well as the conviction of children's patients themselves and their parents in the expediency and importance of this program for health. Practical recommendations for doctors are set out in this article.
