Kidney pathology in type 1 diabetes mellitus is a serious complication that can lead to chronic renal failure and require dialysis or kidney transplantation. To prevent the development of this problem, it is very important to diagnose it in a timely manner and carry out appropriate treatment. The study showed that over time, the number of cases of patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus with kidney damage and a diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy with renal insufficiency and renal syndrome increased. Mortality from type 1 diabetes mellitus with renal insufficiency and a diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy has also increased. This indicates the need to take more effective measures for the prevention and treatment of kidney pathology in diabetes mellitus. Analysis of laboratory data showed that patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus showed pronounced signs of renal failure with a diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy. This confirms the seriousness of the problem and the need for early diagnosis and treatment of this complication. As a result, the results of the study confirm the growth of kidney pathology in diabetic nephropathy, especially in type 1 diabetes mellitus. This is caused by various factors, including an unhealthy lifestyle, increased consumption of sugar and salt, unstable blood glucose control and the presence of bad habits. To prevent the development of kidney pathology, it is important to take measures to control blood glucose levels, proper nutrition, an active lifestyle and regular medical supervision.
