As is known, medicinal plants can be obtained both in vivo and from test tubes, that is, in vitro. The main thing is to identify whether plants obtained in different ways have the same properties, including bactericidal ones. The properties of ginger have been known for a very long time. It has excellent antimicrobial, antiviral and antitumor properties. The use of extracts, essential oils and concentrates derived from ginger is also widespread. Currently, plant components such as [6]-gingerol and [12]-gingerol, obtained from ginger rhizomes, are used, and the resulting essential oils have a bactericidal effect on a number of bacteria.
