CRITERIA FOR JUSTIFYING THE USE OF SYNTHETIC MATERIALS IN THE SURGICAL TREATMENT OF PELVIC ORGAN PROLAPSE

A retrospective analysis was carried out to study the risk factors for recurrence of genital prolapse, as well as to determine the criteria for forming a risk group to justify the use of neofasciogenesis methods in surgical treatment. The study was conducted on the basis of studying the long-term results of surgical treatment of pelvic organ prolapse in 451 patients in a period of 2 to 4 years after surgical correction without the use of synthetic materials. The study was conducted on the basis of a detailed database collected before surgical treatment and taking into account the age of women, their life history, the presence of concomitant somatic pathology, the degree of genital prolapse, family and obstetric-gynecological history, the presence of manifestations of connective tissue dysplasia, and anthropometric data. Based on the identified risk factors for recurrent prolapse, criteria for justifying the use of synthetic materials in this group of patients have been developed.
