NARRATIVE MODELING IN THE MANAGEMENT OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC SYSTEMS

The text discusses approaches to modeling the management process in socio-economic systems. A management model is proposed in which goal setting is considered as a dynamic process that forms the controlled development of a socio-economic system throughout its entire life cycle, and goal achievement is understood as the activity of subjects and objects of management to achieve a given common goal within a dynamically formed goal space. Management is modeled as a compromise between setting and achieving goals, the ultimate goal of which is to ensure the existence of the system and fulfill its mission in accordance with environmental conditions. Fulfilling the mission of the system, given its continuous interaction with the environment, requires constant collection and processing of data on the current state of the system and its environment, as well as constant monitoring and analysis of information flows as information carriers necessary for making operational and informed management decisions. Socio-economic systems with computing resources that provide information flow management are considered as cybersocial systems. The management process in socio-economic systems is considered in the context of narrative practice, and, accordingly, the narrative management model does not fundamentally model human behavior as a subject and object of management.
