The article presents the results of research on the identification of phytopathogenic bacteria in seed potatoes of the Impala and Gala varieties grown in the Limansky district of the Astrakhan region. The research was carried out in the laboratory of the Department of Applied Biology and Microbiology of the Astrakhan State Technical University. During the work, standard methods for identifying and identifying bacterial isolates were used. As a result of this work, 9 strains of bacterial isolates, presumably belonging to the genera: Agrobacterium, Clavibacter, Bacillus, Pseudomonas, Erwinia, were isolated from seed potato tubers of the Impala and Gala varieties. Thus, studying the biodiversity of phytopathogenic microorganisms, isolating bacterial cultures and analyzing their characteristics are key methods for developing measures and strategies to control crop diseases.
