The article examines the psychological characteristics of patients with acute coronary syndrome against the background of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia syndrome. It has been proven that these patients have a high level of social anxiety. We present the results of a study of 220 patients with acute coronary syndrome against the background of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia syndrome, in order to assess the relationship between the severity of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia syndrome and depression in patients with acute coronary syndrome. We studied and analyzed the incidence of depressive syndrome in patients of the studied groups (the incidence of depression in patients with ACS and undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia syndrome was 72%, in the group of patients with ACS – 39%, and in the comparison group 37%). When studying the incidence of depression in patients with undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia syndrome, depending on the severity of connective tissue dysplasia, data were obtained: in the group of ACS patients with undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia syndrome, depression was diagnosed in 95% at grade 3 severity of clinical severity of dysplasia syndrome; in patients with grade 2 – 70%; at grade 1 – 23%, p<0.05. It was found that patients with symptoms of depressive disorder have a 1.5 - 4.5 times higher risk of getting it than in its absence.
