REGULARITY OF THE OCCURENCE OF CANDIDIASIS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON THE MODEL OF THE FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE TRACT

The most alarming condition is the increasing incidence of vulvovaginal candidiasis associated with COVID-19 among patients worldwide [1]. The therapeutic strategy becomes ineffective due to the development of multiple resistance to antimicrobial drugs and the formation of biofilms of Candida fungi. Regular screening conducted at the University Research Institute of Biomedicine and Medical Biotechnology of the Tyumen State Medical University, in the laboratory of microbiome, regenerative medicine and cell technologies for the period from 2019 to 2022 can be used to understand the epidemiology of candidiasis, for better control and prevention of these infections.
