The article argues for the need to implement a comprehensive assessment of the security of information systems through the prism of the cyber resilience indicator. The article examines modern methods for creating cyber threat-resistant infrastructures proposed by various organizations, including NIST, the US Department of Homeland Security, MITRE and Positive Technologies, etc. A review of existing sources revealed the lack of a universal approach to cyber resilience. At the moment, uniform criteria and metrics have not been formed to measure the effectiveness and level of cyber resilience of organizations, despite the availability of separate practical developments in this area. It is emphasized that cyber resilience issues are an interdisciplinary field that requires a comprehensive solution to interrelated tasks. In conclusion, there is a significant gap in the field of standardization – the lack of a holistic methodology combining the necessary methods, models and algorithms to ensure the cyber stability of information systems.
