EXPERIENCE IN THE TREATMENT OF PURULENT-NECROTIC COMPLICATIONS AFTER ABDOMINOPLASTY

This article examines the effectiveness of vacuum therapy in the treatment of purulent-necrotic complications following abdominoplasty. The aim of the study was to enhance treatment efficacy for patients by integrating traditional therapeutic methods with physical techniques. The study involved 17 patients transferred to the Municipal Budgetary Healthcare Institution "City Hospital No. 7" from 2018 to 2023. The patients were divided into two groups: a control group receiving standard treatment and a main group where physical methods, including vacuum therapy, were applied. The results showed that the main group experienced faster wound healing, a reduction in the length of hospital stay (26.4 days compared to 35.8 days in the control group), and improved dynamics of the wound process. The data indicate a significant advantage of vacuum therapy in treating purulent-necrotic complications, opening new perspectives for clinical practice in this field.
