AUTOMATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES IN THE PORTS OF THE NORTHERN SEA ROUTE

The article is devoted to the topic of automation of technological processes of the port. Special attention is paid to ports located on the Northern Sea Route (NSR). The purpose is to analyze the possibility of using existing automated systems to work in the conditions of the NSR. Such systems include mooring systems, cargo transshipment, accounting and control of cargo turnover. An analysis of the methods and available methods of managing port equipment operating in automatic mode in world practice has allowed us to learn the following results: the existing systems are not capable of operating completely offline and require the presence of an operator on the site in some tasks and are not always connected to a single automated system, which does not affect the throughput and quality of services provided by the port in a mild climate. From the analysis, it is concluded that the considered equipment and the existing global experience in automating port processes are not fully applicable in the conditions of the NSR and require deeper automation taking into account natural conditions, namely: combining all technological facilities of the port into a single control system, protecting systems, sensors and mechanisms from environmental influences, and developing a system management algorithm that takes this impact into account.
