Automated quality assessment of radio navigation parameter measurements in navigation locomotive equipment is an important task to ensure the safety and efficiency of railway transportation. This paper proposes a method for evaluating signal quality based on the analysis of the flicker index, which allows for detecting and quantitatively characterizing interference and distortions in radio signals. The developed automatic data processing algorithm enables timely identification of deteriorating conditions of navigation signal reception, thereby enhancing the reliability of positioning systems in complex operational environments. Experimental studies confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed approach and established threshold values of the flicker index for various levels of measurement quality. The results demonstrate the prospects for implementing this method in railway navigation systems to improve their automation and reliability.
