The paper analyzes the approaches for deployment of the “PNETLAB” and “EVE-NG” hybrid virtual lab environments and successful development of lab training courses and practicums for training of information security specialists in higher education institutions and colleges. Ways of combining the virtual lab schemas with the real lab network and information security solutions and equipment are discussed and possible advantages and disadvantages are outlined.
