The problem of surgical treatment of incisional ventral hernias remains highly relevant due to their significant prevalence after laparotomies (15-20%) and the growing frequency of comorbid conditions among patients. Keywords:Loss of domain, hernioplasty, complications, postoperative ventral hernias, comorbid status, diabetes mellitus, obesity, posterior component separation.
