This article explores the evaluation and ranking of multi-criteria alternatives using the Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in the context of evaluating and selecting the appropriate hydraulic fracturing method during the planning phase, based on efficiency and risk. The article demonstrates that the solution in this case involves applying the AHP method to prioritize the criteria (efficiency and risk indicators) and determine the optimal and consistent ranking of different hydraulic fracturing methods. Furthermore, this paper discusses this method in sufficient detail, illustrating its various stages numerically, thus making this study a guide for applying the methodology to other multi-criteria decision-making problems. To facilitate calculations and matrix creation, the study was computer-generated using Microsoft Excel.
Keywords:ranking, analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), decision making, multi-criteria assessment, assessment criteria, quality (risks), binary comparison matrices, hydraulic fracturing (HF), types of hydraulic fracturing, hydraulic fracturing planning efficiency.
