The article is devoted to the topic of morphofunctional determinants of special adaptation of functional systems of polyathlon athletes at various stages of long-term sports training. Special attention is paid to the patterns of changes in morphological, functional, and psychomotor indicators of the athletes' bodies under the influence of systematic training effects of a complex nature.
The purpose of the study is to establish the morphofunctional determinants of special adaptation of functional systems of polyathlon athletes and to determine their relationship with the components of competitive performance at the stages of long-term training.
Methods. 135 female polyathletes aged 14-30 years of various qualifications were examined. Anthropometry, bioimpedansometry, dynamometry, spirometry, functional tests of the cardiorespiratory system, tetrapolar chest rheography, psychomotor testing, methods of variational statistics and correlation analysis were used. Results. A progressive increase in active cellular
