Simulation of the problem of cone indentation in the surface of elastic-plastic body and the effect of residual stresses on the distribution of the normal displacements in the influx

This paper considers the problem of pressing hard cone surface elastic-plastic body and the effect of initial stress on the distribution of normal movement in the infl ux of the imprint. Shows the block diagram, the fi nite element model. Chosen method of specifying initial stress. Calculations are performed for different residual stresses and derive an equation that describes the effect of residual stresses on the relative change in the normal displacements in the influx. Line levels built around the vertical displacement of the cone and the contact of elastic-plastic body. Analysis of the results of the calculations showed that the residual stresses have a signifi cant impact on the distribution of normal movement around the print.
