Application of mathematical methods in the study of communication in social networks

Introduction, Purpose: state security can contribute to the account and prediction of so-called “crowd behavior”, and in particular, the participants of mass social networks for targeted impact on development. Methods: mathematical modeling of diffusion of innovation in social networks. Results: explore some of the currently in use mathematical models to predict the communication research on social networks. Discussion: The obtained results fit into the existing mathematical models of communication processes; offered in the future to explore the connections in social networks based on the theory of random branching processes.
