Features of development of machine-building complex in the Russian Federation

Reasons for the slowdown in production in all sectors of engineering. The factors of reduction of volume of Russian machine-building production: low competitiveness of most products, the gap in terms of quality from their foreign counterparts, the lack of technological flexibility of production, modern marketing tools, a shortage of working capital, lack of demand for domestic products. The selected parameters, the greatest reduction in production volumes a number of industries: agricultural, road-building, hoisting-and-transport machine-building and machine-tool industry. The conclusion about necessity of intensification of import substitution through the promotion of Russian engineering.
