The aim of the research is to determine the effects of non-hormonal correction of climacteric disorders in female patients with metabolic syndrome on the level of thyroid hormones and the marker of autoimmune disease of the thyroid gland. The research includes 330 women with metabolic syndrome aged 45-50. The levels of the thyroid-stimulating hormone, free thyroxine in the blood serum, and the concentration of antibodies against thyroid peroxidase were repeatedly assessed. The most effective to preserve the levels of the parameters mentioned above showed to be the complex approach, based on the combined use of non-drug treatment methods and vitamin-mineral treatment, as compared to the use of only non-drug treatment methods or only vitamin-mineral treatment.
