Heliometeorological factors and mortality from cardiovascular diseases among foothill population

The article presents the results of a study of the effect of solar activity and weather on mortality from cardiovascular diseases among population in the foothills of the Caucasus. In the countryside of foothills and in Buinaksk mortality of the population mainly depends on fluctuations in air temperature as well as on solar activity, especially among the female population. Some problem heliometeorological aspects of mortality in the foothills have been identified in conclusion.
